Turkish Residency Permit Consultancy
People who intend to stay in Turkey for more than 90 days or to live in Turkey permanently must obtain a residence permit. This process may appear complicated, but Atlas Consultancy is ready to assist our customers in making their jobs easier.
First, an application is submitted online, followed by appointment. Following that, the individual goes to the Immigration Administration on the appointment date with the prepared documents and files his application. The processing time ranges between 30 and 90 days.
There are two types of Residence permits: Short-term and Long term:
1. Short-Term (up to 1-2 years)
The following documents are required:- Passport
- 4 Biometric Pictures
- Turkish Tax Number
- Notarized Rental Contract + Landlord’s ID and Title Deed Copy
- Health insurance
Short Term Extension
The following additional documents are required:
- Residence Permit Card
- Settlement Certificate
2. Long-Term
People who have lived in Turkey with an uninterrupted residence permit for eight years and have not been abroad for more than 365 days in the last five years can apply. Persons who have obtained a long-term residence permit do not have to extend their residence permits again.
For this type of residence permit, the above documents and additionally the following are required:
- Criminal record
- Document showing that you have not received social assistance in the last 3 years
- Entry/Exit Notice
